Whew! Ok all my little happy snackers. Let me explain my awful blogging etiquette. I finally decided to take the leap and upgrade my wonderful Wordpress blogging platform. What I did not count on however, was that it would be an excruciatingly painful process, resulting in the complete annihilation of my blog – AH!
Thankfully, like the smart little blogger I am, I backed up most of my files (back up your files!!!), and I was able to restore HBS to almost good as new condition. So I apologize for the bizarre design changes some of you may have recently seen and the lack of posts, but HBS is now back to full blogging capacity, and it’s back to blogging about scrumdidliumptious foodie treats!
Today’s blog snack of choice swerves more towards foodie etiquette than foodie consumption. I stumbled upon a question the other day that piqued my interest and wanted to hear your folks’ take on the matter. As an aspiring hostess (yes, I did say aspiring, as I do not yet have the means to hostess to my full potential), when a guest brings over a bottle of wine, should it be opened immediately? What if there are already a few bottles open on the table, still open the guest’s bottle to be polite? Or is it assumed that this bottle is a gift to the hostess, and need not be opened?
